Abstract

Key Authentication forms the basis for security and survival of public key cryptosystem. The key authentication scheme proposed by Lee et al., Applied mathematics and computation 139 (2003) 343- 349 has some serious security problems and has low performance in calculation of certificate. To overcome the problems of the LHL-scheme, we developed a new key authentication system. Our scheme enhances the security in certificate generation and achieves major security services. This scheme also generates the certificate in reduces number of iterations.
